Dr. Meifeng Lin is an Associate Computational Scientist at the Computational Science
Initiative of Brookhaven National Laboratory. Most of her research involves using
high-performance computers to perform Monte Carlo simulations and large-scale data
analysis, in particular in the area of Lattice Quantum Chromodynamics. Prior to joining
Brookhaven National Laboratory in 2013, she held positions in Massachusetts Institute
of Technology, Yale University, Boston University, and Argonne National Laboratory.
Meifeng obtained her Ph.D. in theoretical particle physics from Columbia University,
B.S in Physics from Peking University in China, and has worked on many research projects
aimed at understanding the fundamental forces in nature and their effects on our visible
