With the official end of the semester, it’s time to celebrate! To recognize and honor the success of our students, the IACS Student Association is hosting a graduation reception on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024. We plan to get together and convey our best wishes to the graduating students. It will be a relaxed and fun event with dinner, cake, and a piñata!

End-of-semester Nature Getaway

The IACS Student Association is planning an outdoor off-campus trip to enjoy nature and decompress. RSVP is required by April 22 so we can make sure we have adequate transportation for everyone.
Where: Bayard Cutting Arboretum
When: Saturday, April 27. Pickup at 10am @ IACS. Rain date April 28.
What: Flat trails through trees, gardens, and along a lake (map here!). Lunch will be provided.
Other: Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes to best enjoy walking through nature! There are both paved and unpaved paths.
Board Game Night

Welcome to the Spring Semester! The IACS Student Association is organizing a "Cookie Decoration and Movie Night" on Friday, February 23rd, 2024. There will be cookies and decorating kits, followed by a movie night. Refreshments and light snacks will be served.
Friendsgiving Potluck

Halloween Party

The IACS Student Association is organizing a Halloween Party on Monday, October 30 at 4pm

There will be snacks, refreshments, competitions, and games! The contest for the most innovative costume will start at 5pm, followed by trick-or-treating around the institute. Dress up in costume to win exciting prizes!
Welcome to Fall 2023
We are thrilled to invite you to this year's IACS Welcome Event for New and Returning Students. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 27th, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, outside the Life Sciences building.
Join us and meet students with mutual interests, particularly in computational science, and share some pizza! Current IACS students will be present to share their perspectives and experiences. It will be an occasion for us to get to know one another better outside our work lives.
We, the IACS Student Association, look forward to seeing you all soon. Welcome back to a great new academic year!
