Position Description
The position oversees and administers Vermont's fish division programs including supervising, mentoring, and providing important training for staff; establishing research and project priorities; coordinating research and management programs; and evaluating program accomplishments. The position also sets key program goals and identifies priorities for a number of species and habitat management teams. The Fish Program Manager supervises and reviews the work of regional fish biologists in the preparation and implementation of fish management activities and plans, land acquisition and habitat protection, environmental review activities, and the use of cultured fish.
