Stony Brook to Host CUG2025 Conference
Stony Brook to Host CUG2025 Conference
The Institute for Advanced Computational Science is excited to announce that our university will host the Cray User Group (CUG) 2025 conference from May 4 – May 8!
CUG is an independent, international corporation of member organizations that originally owned Cray Inc. computer systems. Since HPE's acquisition of Cray in 2019, the group has expanded to include owners of select HPE and Cray systems. CUG is dedicated to facilitating collaboration and information exchange in the high-performance computing (HPC) community.
As the theme for the 2025 event we chose "Computing Horizons." This theme aims to capture the vast opportunities ahead, emphasizing the integration of traditional HPC workloads with powerful AI innovations in algorithms and specialized hardware. The 2025 conference will explore this bright future and the limitless possibilities and challenges that come with it.
We look forward to welcoming the international HPC community to New York for this exciting event!
