Hideo Sekino

Professor Sekino is a Visiting Professor from Tokyo Institute of Technology and leading the graduate school program out of Toyohashi University of Technology. His research is in:

• Classical and quantum simulation for bio-molecules and nano materials
• Implementation of Non-Gaussian basis set quantum chemistry methods on super computer and application to the evaluation of opto-electronic property of functional materials such as graphene
• Development of quantum computing systems by Quantum walk and Density Matrix Renormalization Group methods
• Real time visualization of virtual reality for quantum systems
• Real-time informational analysis and reconstruction of musical systems
• Human effect on sound/visual manipulation in performance arts using interactive programming techniques
• Signal processing of real-time multiple brain wave by interactive programming.
