The summer school will be held from August 1-12 at the Institute for Advanced Computational Science at Stony Brook University. The school will be by invitation only and involve the following PIs:
- Robert Harrison, director of the Institute for Advanced Computational Science at Stony Brook University
- Stig Rune Jensen, postdoctoral fellow, Center for Theoretical and Computational Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, University of Tromso, Norway
- Hideo Sekino, professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan
- Edward Valeev, associate professor of Theoretical Chemistry at Virginia Tech
- Florian Bischoff, researcher at Humboldt University, Germany
- Gregory Beylkin, professor of Applied Mathematics at University of Colorado, Boulder
- Witold Nazarewicz, Chief Scientist & Hannah Professor of Physics Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Michigan
- George Fann, senior R&D staff at Oak Ridge National Laboratory
- Amina GuerreMocuhe, Department of Computer Science, University of Tennessee, Knoxville
PIs are expected to recommend up to two students each to attend the school, for a total of 25 participants. Participants are targeted for participation because of their involvement with mathematical techniques used to solve equations and/or with software that uses MRA to solve equations in their research.
