High-Performance Computing and Future Computing Technologies

Frontier research in computer science and applied math meets with applications in science and engineering driven by high-performance on current and future computer systems. Research includes programming models and runtime systems; advanced numerical methods and fast algorithms; HPC for scientific discovery and engineering design; effective use of exascale computer systems; integrating ML and HPC into applications; cloud and data-centric computation for science and education; and scientific reproducibility and uncertainty quantification. We are deeply interested in the development and effective use of future computer technologies including quantum computing and information theory; neuromorphic processors; FPGAs; data-centric systems; and network topologies.
