Computer Science Tutor

IACS has an opening for a tutor to assist IACS graduate students in computer science topics. Applicants will be expected to have taken advanced graduate courses and be able to give tutorial help in how to think algorithmically and solve problems efficiently. Topics include abstraction, algorithms, data structures, encapsulation, resource management, security, software engineering. The chosen candidate will be expected to hold weekly, 2-hour recitations at IACS for any interested students and be available through email for questions and follow-up.

This GA state position is for approximately 10 hours/week for the spring and fall semesters at a salary of $5,000 per semester and is open to both domestic and international MS or PhD students. Applicants must be full-time students and fully registered in the semester in which they work.
